Straight from Sweden to Detroit for work

I went home to Wales for Christmas, via Cardiff to visit my brother and friends, staying until the 28th when I departed to go snowboarding in Åre – Sweden. I had a great time, the Swedish being amazing people and genuinely friendly. The snowboarding was pretty good, comparatively to the Alps, which I here has had terrible snow. I got back on the 5th of Jan to be told by work that I was being sent out to Detroit the next day. Lucked business class on the way out – awesome, but it was colder than Sweden when we arrived, settling at a not so nice -25 degrees. Hard work and then back on Saturday, jet-lagged and generally confused. I had fun going through US immigration (both ways) and found that they had decided to bolt cut the lock on my suitcase to check for “possible security threats”.
